Life Insurance:protection After Death   no comments

Posted at 8:35 am in Writing a Will
Luke Ashworth

No one wants to think about death. No one wants to think about leaving their family and friends behind. No one wants to bother thinking about the details of a funeral, burial or cremation, or about leaving this earth at all. For many, death is just not going to happen to them; they’re going to stay here for ever.

Unfortunately, people do die and they leave their families and other loved ones behind. Often, those left behind, are left bills, the need to deal with funerals, and burials or cremation, and wills. Those left behind don’t have the ability to just forget about all the funeral expenses; they have to put their lives on hold and their wallets on the line.

Leaving this life isn’t something anyone wants to think about, but it will happen, and you’ll want to be financially prepared to help your family out.

The Blessing of Life Insurance

Today, the cost of a funeral can be more than the cost of a car. Many people just don’t have that kind of money laying around in preparation for the unexpected. There are very few people in this world who actually have the ability to save up money for the emergencies of life. Those that can afford to hide away piles of money should do so. Those who don’t should get life insurance .

Life insurance is a policy that a person purchases in order to ensure that, once they’re dead, their families won’t be stuck paying for an expensive funeral. In some cases, a life insurance policy is large enough to, not only pay for the funeral, but also leaves some financial support for the family of the departed. To the children of someone who dies, a life insurance policy can be a “lifesaver”. Not having to worry about where their going to get the money for the funeral, for the burial, and for the mortgage on the house is a weight off of their already burdened shoulders. Having someone you love die can be a hard blow, having to deal with their financial mistakes once they’re gone, can be even harder. Purchasing life insurance is one way to ensure that not only you, but your family, will be taken care of in the event of your death.

Leave Your Family Something Other Than Debt

If you die in debt, your debt does not die with you. Unfortunately, there are many people who believe that once they are dead, debt collectors have no one to call. Debt collectors are completely within their legal rights in calling your family in order to collect on your debt. Purchasing life insurance is one way to save your family from your financial mistakes. If you have accumulated tons of debt in your lifetime that you have not been able to pay off, do not make your family do it for you once you are dead.More and more, life insurance is becoming a life necessity. Not only is it a way to clear your debt once you are dead, but it is also a way to give your family peace and comfort once you are gone.

Life insurance is important; do not leave earth without it!

Choosing The Right Estate Plan   no comments

Posted at 11:37 am in Writing a Will
Are you sure, you have selected the right estate plan? Estate tax is one of the most valuable resources of federal revenue. It also encourages millions of dollars as donations. Estate planning is very vital and there are several reasons that make it important. Generally Americans avoid making a will and don’t think about making any comprehensive plan to avoid estate taxes or avoid any probate.

Depending on your age, wealth, health and instinctive level of caution, you may not need much of estate planning. If you wish to, you may need to decide on appointing a lawyer to assist you in making a will or trust. If your estate is not as dripping as Picasso or if you don’t possess a fat investment then you may not need a lawyer as it is easy and safe to chart out a basic estate planning. You can handle estate planning with some simple self-help techniques like-

You are 25 and yet single

If this is the case then why are you reading estate planning? You should be partying and dancing with your date. But if you are still interested then at your age, don’t trouble yourself with estate planning. If your lifestyle is too perilous or you suffer from some serious illness, then you have ample of time to think of it.

If you are very rich then pass on the assets to your boyfriend, nephew or for a favorite cause and if you don’t write a will, then after your death the property goes to your parents. So think about it.

Are you a couple but not married?

If you have linked yourself, but not married then you need to have a will. Without a will the state law will dictate their terms over your property and unmarried partners get nothing, except in few places like California, Maine, Hawaii and Vermont where surviving partners inherit everything. So if you love your partner and don’t wish to leave him or her without anything, prepare a joint tenancy with the right of survivorship. This will entitle the person to own 100% of your property.

Do you have young children?

Write a simple will, just a document that entitles your children to your property and the name of a guardian for your children if they are below 18. The guardian takes over the control on your property if both or either of the parents is not accessible. If you fail to mention a guardian’s name then the court suggests the name of one of your parents. So if you don’t specify the same in your will, your spouse may be left with nothing and everything will go directly to your children. Children are not permitted to invest or spend anything without court order.

Mutual fund investment

If you have led a comfortable life and saved some material wealth, then you need to invest well. If you wish to save your family from legal hassles, then try and make a revocable living trust so that your heirs get everything directly without any circuitous detour or going through the court.

How to Make a Kiss Happen   no comments

Posted at 5:57 pm in Relationships
    Vlad Stivenson

Here are some tips for guys to help you get that kiss that you want. You can even apply these suggestions to get a kiss on the first date.

    1. Find a private, romantic spot for the kiss. A good place is at your house or your partner’s house or maybe at the movies. If you are at home, it is a good idea to watch a movie or something else relaxing. You want to let the girl decide where to sit and then sit close to her so your legs touch but not uncomfortably close.

    2. Rest your arm behind her so your hand is near her shoulder but only lightly touching it if at all.

    3. Gently move closer and drape your arm around her shoulder without doing it suddenly. Pay attention to her body language to make sure she wants you to do this. If she is enjoying it, she will most likely relax into your arm and lean towards you.

    4. Get a little closer so your have your arm all the way around you and your touching her neck. You will be able to tell by now if she wants you to continue or to stop so follow her lead.

    5. Gently touch her shoulder in a stroking motion and see if she moves your hand away or lets you continue.

    6. If she doesn’t seem uncomfortable, keep gently touching her shoulder and move your hand so you are rubbing her neck. After awhile, move further so you are rubbing her ears, an area that is known to be a erogenous zone when touched the right way.

    7. Keep rubbing her ears gently until you feel like it is time to move in for the kiss. When you are ready, run your finger across her jawline and slowly turn her head to face you. Get closer as she turns her head and look in her eyes. Move in until your lips are almost touch and let her move in the rest of the way.

    Things to Remember:

    * Be confident. If you feel lack of confidence, download and use Subliminal Flash program, it will improve your self-confidence at the subconscious level. Subliminal Flash software is based on a subliminal effect, it displays subliminal messages on your computer screen while you are working or playing. Your subcnscious mind immediately accepts subliminal messages sent by Subliminal Flash, and you become more confident, charismatic, sexual person. After that your partner will definitely be happy to kiss you. After that just follow steps described below.

    * Watch to see how she feels about what you are doing.

    * Be very gentle and move slowly.

    * If you feel like she is not interested stop what you are doing right away.

    * Remember that not everyone is comfortable kissing until you have been on a few dates.

    * It is a good idea to kiss the girl on the check first before the actual kiss since this is a turn on for most girls.

Estate Planning Part 09 – Who Can be Your Executor ?   no comments

Posted at 8:41 pm in Writing a Will
    Kyle J. Norton

Estate planning is the process of accumulating and disposing of wealth before death of individual or a group of owner known as estate owner including married couple. It aims is to maximize the wealth of the estate owner. The most important goal of estate planning is to make sure that the greatest amount of the estate passes to the estate owner’s intended beneficiaries while paying the least amount of taxes. If you are chosen as an executive in a decreased person will, here are your duties.

    1. Definition of Executor

As we mentioned in previous article, an Executor is the person named by decreased person before his or her death in the most recent will and he or she has the responsibility to administrate the deceased’s estate.

    2. Who can be an executor

There are many concerns when you decide to choose someone as an executor in your will, here are some examples.

    a) Your executor in a will should be someone is trustworthy and respectable to your family. He or she should know and agree to carry your wishes upon your death.

    b) Your executor must be able to read, write and speak English fluently and capable to perform the duties of an estate executor. Requesting other people to translate or interpret the will is costly and make the matter more complex.

    c) If you think your estate is complex enough or you suspect your will may cause some controversy among designate beneficiary, you may consider to name a professional executor, such as a trust company or lawyer to carry the duty upon your death.

c)Your executor should be someone who you have known for many years so that they can carry his or her duties without causing any interfere or delay with your wish.

    d) Remember that person was named in a will as executor is under no obligation to serve. You make sure you have discussed your wishes with that person beforehand so he or she understands the duties as an executor and is comfortable with the performance of those duties to avoid any unnecessary delay of your estate administration.

    e) Make sure you also appoint an alternate executor in case the primary executor is unable or unwilling to perform those duties at the time of your death.

    f) Your executor should of course be someone healthy and likely to outlive you.

    g) You may wish to appoint professional to act as your executor if you anticipated controversy or conflict among beneficiaries.

The duties of an executor is to carry our estate administration and to ensure the decreased person final wishes are respected and is allowed to charge a 2.5% fee on capital disbursements or on capital receipts.

I hope this information will help. If you need more information or insurance advices, please follow my article series of the above subject at my home page at:

English Writing Software™ – Easily Write Like a Pro!   no comments

Posted at 11:25 am in Writing a Will
    Jane Sumerset

English writing software – Software can’t match the quality of a manual proof read? Wrong. English writing software can now instantly simplify all of your writing tasks. English writing software can make your life easier in many ways. English writing software can now instantly simplify all of your writing tasks. English writing software uses a technology called NLP (Natural Language Processing), which reads your whole sentences in context, unlike an ordinary spell checker, which only words single words. Reading in context is important, because without context a spell checker can’t tell if you mean “their” or “there,” as both are words in English.

English writing software is the patent-pending solution which automatically works with all text based tools, easily correcting all grammatical, spelling, punctuation or any other writing errors.

Use it for: Essay Writing, Medical writing, Article Writing, Creative Writing, Email, Instant Messaging, Business Writing, Letter Writing, Social Media, Blogging, Legal writing and much, much more.

For people who must write a great deal, whether for school or work, English writing software can help to teach you to naturally improve your writing. It’s like having a virtual writing teacher built into your computer. English is actually not one of the easiest languages in the world, even for native speakers. Here are five ways it may be able to help you.

    1. If you are in business and must send out correspondences, emails, reports and other information, you want your writing to be clear, correct and professional. This will enable people to better understand your communications. It will also improve your image as someone who writes well and clearly.

    2. English writing software can help increase your creativity as a writer, as in addition to correcting mistakes, it also acts as a thesaurus and suggests different words, such as descriptive adverbs and adjectives. This makes your writing more interesting and versatile.

    3. If English is not your first language but you have a need to communicate clearly in this language, this is the perfect solution for you. You can write down the basic ideas of what you need to say, while the software will read and correct your mistakes and suggest alternatives.

    4. If you spend time rewriting or editing your reports or other correspondences, English writing software can save you a lot of time by automating these tedious tasks.

    5. When you make mistakes in your writing and people notice it, it can have a negative effect in the way they think of you. If you are in business, trying to sell something, attempting to persuade someone of something, or even if you are just writing social emails, isn’t it better to be seen as someone who is well educated and can write well.

When you write letters or emails, you can do so faster and with more confidence, as English writing software will correct your mistakes and suggest better word usage, much like a thesaurus. If you have to do much writing, for any reason at all, English writing software can help you to communicate faster and more effectively.

Estate Planning: Estate Tax Rates   no comments

Posted at 7:01 pm in Writing a Will
    Mike Trudeau

We pay taxes, based on income each and every working years of our lives, but according to Uncle Sam that’s not enough, so we pay taxes on death too. As far as taxes go, the estate tax has always been one of the least accepted forms of taxation. It is a serious revenue generator for the coffers of the US government. There has been much talk in recent years about the repeal of the estate tax, in order to do so we will have to find revenue for another tax source to replace the estate tax. This is easier said than done, so we wait. And we may be waiting for a long time, as there doesn’t seem to be a clear solution.

The estate tax is often referred to as the double tax, as it is a second tax. Essentially the estate tax is a form of double taxation, since it’s taxing money that really has already been taxed. Though it may not seem fair, it’s currently the way it is. The good news is that there are ways to avoid this estate tax, regardless of your tax rate. For the rich, the estate tax is not referred to as the double tax, but rather the volunteer tax. For these individuals who might be classified in the highest tax rate, are often well aware, when it comes to avoiding the estate tax.

All too often, it’s the middle class who aren’t well-versed in estate planning, and that end up footing the estate tax bill. This is common for even those that may be in a lower tax rate. All they need is a little bit of knowledge, and they too can eliminate the estate tax. To touch on a few of the techniques that the ultra rich utilize to avoid the estate tax, they often use rather mundane estate planning practices. This process doesn’t have to be a complicated one. The simplest step to reducing your taxable estate is gifting. You can eliminate large amounts of your estate by simply gifting. Current law allows for a rather large amount of money to be gifted, per individual. So, by gifting to family or predetermined beneficiary such as a charity you can start reducing your estate. And the beauty of gifting is that there is no limit on how many individuals you can give to. Why wait till you die to tax your estate when you can gift it to the same beneficiaries free from the estate tax.

The other popular method to reduce estate taxes is life insurance planning. Life insurance policies are utilized by the rich to find any estate tax bill that may be incurred by future generations. Life insurance can provide a large amount of leverage with a rather small initial outlay. A large estate, with potentially large estate tax consequences can be covered with a rather small life insurance premium. And because life insurance proceeds are not taxable, the life insurance payout is completely free of tax, when set up properly. This is why life insurance has been an integral part of estate planning for years. In fact, life insurance planning is worth taking a closer look at for your estate planning needs. This is not just exclusive to avoiding the estate tax. The synergistic effect, along with the tax advantage of life insurance, makes it an excellent tool for the transfer of wealth.

3 Mistakes People Make When Using Free Article Content   no comments

Posted at 10:33 pm in Writing a Will
    Andrew Mullins

Although this can sometimes be the only option for those who are running on a non-existent budget, it’s not a method that will effectively build your website or revenue. Short – term Maybe; long-term No. There are a three major reasons why this may be harmful to your new business building efforts.

    Problem #1 – Search Engines

Search engines will penalize your site if it has the exact same duplicated content than other sites. The more sites that share your content, the less it will help you achieve good search engine rankings – if fact, the more sites there are that contain the same content – the more it will HURT your rankings.

Good search engine rankings are essential to getting visitors to your site so that they have a chance to click on your affiliate links. If you cannot even get visitors, then will never make an revenue. Like a Catch 22, ey? Your whole point in creating a web site to attract visitors should be original content as that is what Google, Yahoo and the others are looking for – and RANK for. Working on the search engine optimization of your site so that you will eventually be high enough in the results to get customers, should be priority one.

Problem #2 – Getting visitors to click

Although getting your site high on search engine result pages and acquiring site visitors is hard work, unfortunately this is only half of the battle. You also have to be able to convince those visitors to click on your affiliate links! If all your visitors see is the same content they saw on their last search – going to a different site, they will be much less likely to click on your links. Most people want to buy things that are recommended by people that they trust or people that they feel are an expert on the subject material (or product).

If your content is just a duplication of other sites, you will be tagged as someone who doesn’t really know what they’re talking about and therefore will not look as kindly on your product recommendations. This will reduce the number of website visitors who will be willing to click through.

    Problem #3 – Author Bylines

Most free content is only given to you if you agree to place the authors byline under the article (you can get into trouble if you try to use it without following the stipulated rules). This poses a problem because most author bylines include links. When a reader gets done reading a really intriguing article, there is a strong possibility that they will click on the author’s byline link rather than your affiliate links. This is the entire reason why these authors offer free content to begin with, so that they may get their name and links out there to the public. Using this type of content may mean shooting yourself in the foot and losing possible (and profitable) visitors.

Once you put these three problems together, you are looking at a serious decline in revenue simply because you used free website content from article directories. Although it may be the only option for some, if you have the funds to buy (or the knowledge to create) your own original content, then you should definitely go this route.

If you don’t have the finds, however, you will still be better off writing your own content and then hiring professional services once you have made a profit to work with.

If you do still decide to use free content, think carefully and choose the articles you publish on your site carefully. There are thousands – millions – of great articles out there that you can use as long as you are careful.

Writing Tips for Novice Authors   no comments

Posted at 9:15 pm in Writing a Will
    ParamS

If you are reading this article then you probably have asked yourself at some point in your life, “Do I have what it takes to become an author?”

I believe that successful authors, those who actually write and finish that novel, or book of poetry, or even that book of short stories, and see it all the way to publication, have certain characteristics.

    Characteristics of Authors

    1. They like to sit for hours in front of a computer screen (or with pen and paper), typing (writing) away.

    2. They think about their book, even when they’re not writing.

    3. They are motivated to finish their book.

    4. They are motivated to proofread, edit and revise their finished book until it is the best it can be.

    5. They are motivated to publish their book.

    6. Once they publish the first book, they are already working on the next one.

If you answered yes to anyone of the above, then you have a good chance of attaining your dreams of becoming an author. Don’t listen to those people who say it’s a competitive market out there. Don’t listen to those people who say they’ve written five books and haven’t had one published yet. And don’t listen to those people who send you back your manuscripts! Listen to yourself. Listen to that inner voice, the one that is whispering now. But wait until you get started. Once your book is written and published, that inner voice will be roaring! And the whole world will hear about it.

I know, I know. I tend to be the optimist. But we have so many pessimists in the book business, we sure need some more optimists around!

For you, the novice writer who would like to start writing that first book, the best way to begin is to start writing. Yes, just sit down and do it. Stop the other activities, the television, the reading, the shopping, the chatting on the telephone, and find the time to devote at least one hour a day to writing.

What’s one hour a day in the scheme of things? It comes and goes like this, poof! What do you have to show after an hour of television? A lazy yawn? If that same hour were spent on writing, then there would be a product in your hands, something that will be shared, hopefully, one day with others.

So, go ahead, shut the door to the rest of the world for one hour (or more) and make yourself comfortable in front of the computer screen (or pen and paper). Let’s take the first step to becoming an author.

    How To Begin

    Foundation

Just like a construction company which builds a foundation to a home, you also need to prepare a foundation for your career in writing. Don’t skip this step, it’s important.

Your “foundation” will consist of basic writing skills. Remember those English courses you took in high school and college? If you don’t remember anything from those courses, then it wouldn’t be a bad idea if you found your old English textbooks, dusted them off a bit, and looked through their pages to refresh your memory.

If you haven’t taken any courses in creative writing, you might consider signing up for one. Check with your local community college. They often offer weekend and evening classes, and sometimes even online classes. If you’re on a budget, then visit the public library and sign out books relevant to writing.

In addition, it would be very useful to join a writing group (online or in your local area) that critiques your work and gives you the opportunity to critique also. The group provides wonderful support and an avenue to sharpen your skills as you gain experience in writing, as well as exposure to other people’s writing. For example, Writing.com is a good example of an online resource that provides many opportunities to share your writing, and get your work rated and reviewed. If you want to join a critique or review group, it offers that also.

The second step to becoming an author, is to have the right tools.

    Tools Needed

Besides a comfortable chair, plenty of lighting, and a quiet room, you will need a computer with a word processing program (e.g., Microsoft Word), a printer, and plenty of paper.

Why a computer? First of all, publishers typically will request a copy of your files sent to them on a floppy disk. More importantly, working with a word processing program will aid you in many ways towards becoming a published author. It will provide the opportunity to save your work as a Word file, without having to use up tons of paper (as with a typewriter). This greatly aids you in keeping your work organized. It also gives you the flexibility to edit and re-edit large sections of your work quickly by allowing you to utilize the copy and paste functions.

Other advantages of using a computer word processing program is that it provides spell check capabilities, and also helps you count the number of words per page. In addition, when you want to spice up your vocabulary (For example, if you like to use the word “walk” often, and are getting tired of that word), place your cursor on the word “walk”, hit shift F7. It will give you a list of synonyms you can choose from – like stroll, amble, etc.).

The time saved by using a computer is very valuable. It gives you more time available to write! Of course, if you don’t have the above materials, don’t let that stop you from writing that book! Using a pen and paper is perfectly fine. Books were written with these two basic tools for centuries.

Let’s assume you are using a computer and a Word processing software. First of all, before you begin writing, form a subdirectory that you can add all your chapters to. Maybe you know the title of your book already. Fine, then form a subdirectory using the name of the title. After you finish writing that first chapter (oh joy!), just save it as Chapter 1 under the subdirectory. If you are writing a book of poetry, then you might want to save each poem as a separate file.

When I write my chapters for my novel, I format them in double space mode, with a Times New Roman 11 font. All the margins are at least one inch. This way it will be ready for manuscript submission.

Try not to add your page numbers until the very last revision. Page numbers constantly change when you’re revising, so wait until the end.

Finally, another reason for having a computer is for Internet access. As a writer, you will have opportunities to submit your fiction online, such as http://www.Writing.com, or even your articles online for e-zines, such as http://www.articlecity.com. Any chance you can get to write online, do it. As long as it doesn’t take too much time away from your book. It’s also a free way of promoting yourself before the book is even published.

So you need to balance your time in writing that book, honing your writing skills, submitting your work along the way for others to critique, and promoting yourself. Can you do it? Of course you can!

The third step to becoming an author is:

    What to Write

If you are planning to write a novel, it would help to know what general category your book is going to be in. Will it be in the romance, mystery, or science fiction category? If you don’t know, take some time and think about it. Read some books in those genres. Which books seem to attract you the most? It’s highly likely that you’ll be writing in the category that you like to read. My preference is romance because I read those types of books the most. Once you decide the category, then you are closer to writing that novel!

For poetry, you might start by writing a poem and submitting it to a poetry journal, or a poetry contest. Gain exposure for your poetry. Join a critique group so you can sharpen your poetry skills. A chapbook usually consists of about 25-35 poems. For a poetry book, you’ll need at least 60 pages of poetry, if not more.

    Types of Novelists

I have found over time, that there are two types of novelists. The first type is the writer who prefers drawing up a proposal or plan of what they will write about. The second type prefers to write whatever comes into their mind at that moment.

You decide which writer you will be.

    Type 1 Novelist

They begin by describing the characters, their names, personalities, and sometimes their motives. Then they decide when and where the setting will take place. When will it take place? If it takes place before the 1900’s, then it will be considered historical. Also, will the setting be in the country, in a city (which city?), in a house (whose house), on a cruise ship? That needs to be defined also.

Once those decisions are made, they write brief sketches of each chapter. It could be a page or two long. Once all this is done, then the real writing begins. If this method works for you, then feel free to use it. It may take some time, but you will become more confident about what you’ll write once you go through this initial process.

    Type 2 Novelist

What if you’re the type of person who doesn’t want to spend all that time writing proposals and character sketches? What if you’re like me, who prefers to just write whatever comes into your head? Then do it! Sit down and start writing. Write anything.

As the story develops, something wonderful begins brewing in your mind. Something called creativity. I’ve caught myself hours after I finished writing a chapter, and I’ll be preparing dinner, or walking somewhere, and a scene from my novel will begin to unfold. It’s called creative problem solving. My mind is working to solve the problem that the writing presents it, even though I’m not actively writing. When I get those urges, I immediately stop what I’m doing and jot down my thoughts. It’s helped me many times, particularly when everything clicks together.

    How Long Will It Take?

It took me almost two years to write and find a publisher for my first novel, Lipsi’s Daughter. For other people, it may take longer or shorter, depending on the amount of time they allow for writing and how many pages they are writing. I know of authors that took six, seven, up to twelve years to write their first book. I also know of a famous author who writes two novels a year!

So unless you begin writing that first page of your book, you’ll never know how long it’ll take you to write it. Go ahead, make that first step, and good luck!

Make Your Own Wedding Favors – Wedding Favors on the Go   no comments
